May 21, 2010~It was a beautiful day for a graduation on the lawn next to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (my favorite museum in Boston) and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. We sat outside in the sunshine with other families waiting to hear the names of our loved ones called up. The evening before we attended another ceremony for the honor students. Peter was honored with distinction, which means that he recieved at least six honor grades, including at least one in his area of concentration. He was one of four in his field of Film and Video. Afterwards, they had a nice reception in the art gallery that exhibited the students art work.
Peter has worked his way through school installing blinds for the Boston Shade Company. We are very proud of his determination to make ends meet by living at home and biking to school, even in the winter. He was hired in January of this year by Viewpoint Creative in Needham as a technical production assistant and is really happy there making commericals for network television. We are grateful that he found a job in this economy and we are looking forward to celebrating his graduation with friends on June 19th with a BBQ and Pool Party in the Bowman's backyard.
