Anna Banana
Happy Birthday to
a beautiful and
talented daughter.
We love you and
wish you a year full of
laughter, love,
and happiness.
The following is a letter and poem that Grandma Marple wrote to Anna on November 22, 1978.
Dear Little Annie-Becky,
You are twenty-one days old today and your Grandmother misses you so very much that she doesn't dare think about it or she finds herself in tears. How can one tiny little girl make such a difference in so many lives?
Your hair is silvery blond.
Your mouth is a dear pink rose.
And between your blue eyes,
Is the cutest, cutest nose.
I love this prayer that Anna said when she little: "Please bless the robbers that they won't steal and bless the people on crack--and help us to take a bite out of crime. Amen."
